CULTURAL EXCHANGE IN ACTION
CULTURAL EXCHANGE IN ACTION
In Living Colored produces and presents cultural artists whose work carries history, identity, and tradition into shared public spaces. Through storytelling, movement, music, and community gathering, we create opportunities for audiences to encounter cultures with respect, curiosity, and joy.

On October 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m., In Living Colored will produce Grupo Danza Quetzalcóatl Aztec Dance in a special cultural performance at the Fort Collins Fall Festival—an expression of our continuing commitment to cultural exchange and community connection.
COMMUNITY & CONVERSATION
In Living Colored brings people together through storytelling, education, and honest conversation—creating space to listen, learn, reflect, and act.
PUBLIC CONVERSATIONS
Talkbacks, community forums, and guided discussions connect the stories on our stages and screens with the questions facing people today.
VOTING RIGHTS & EQUAL JUSTICE
Through THURGOOD
by George Stevens, Jr.
and the Equal Justice Tour and Thurgood Initiative, we create nonpartisan programs that encourage civic understanding, voter participation, and informed dialogue about justice.
CULTURAL EVENTS
We collaborate with artists, historians, educators, veterans, faith communities, and cultural organizations to present meaningful events rooted in Black history and multicultural experience.
GLOBAL EXCHANGE
Our conversations reach beyond borders—building relationships with international artists, educators, and communities while sharing local stories with the wider world.
PARTNER WITH US
We welcome schools, universities, theaters, nonprofits, civic organizations, and community leaders who want to host a conversation, collaborate on an event, or help strengthen their community through storytelling.
