FRIENDS OF BLACK HISTORY
OUR FIRST JUSTICE CIRCLE FRIEND — LINDA SNYDER
With heartfelt thanks to Linda Snyder, our first Justice Circle friend of the Equal Justice Tour. Her generosity provided airfare and accommodations for our New York stay, helping bring THURGOOD and the conversation about equal justice to a wider audience.
Black history is living history. Friends of Black History is a growing community of people who believe these stories must be preserved, performed, taught, discussed, and carried forward.
BECOME A FRIEND
Beginning at $10 a month, Friends help In Living Colored build a lasting cultural institution rooted in storytelling, education, and conversation.
WHAT FRIENDS MAKE POSSIBLE
Your participation strengthens theatrical productions, dramatic-arts education, youth programs, podcast conversations, original media, public events, and the development of new Black-history works.
THE FIRST 50 FRIENDS
We are beginning with a founding circle of fifty people who want to help establish this work from the ground up. Every Friend becomes part of the story we are building together.
OUR FOUNDING CIRCLE
Linda Snyder • Tad and Mary Coady Leeper • Mary Koltze • Ryan Barone • Gloria Beatriz Kat • Barbara Lincoln • Marsha Rech • Louise Cutler • Ifficially Blacker (Jamal Skinner) • David Ferguson and Peter Massey • Clements-Vann Charitable Fund (American Endowment) • KRFC 88.9 Fort Collins • Community Impact Center Fort Collins
Their generosity strengthens our stage, expands our reach, and keeps Black history alive for future generations.
WHY IT MATTERS
When communities sustain their own stories, history remains visible. Young people encounter voices that broaden their understanding. Artists receive room to create. Audiences gain places for honest conversation.
