THURGOOD ON TOUR
THE THURGOOD EQUAL JUSTICE TOUR
The THURGOOD Equal Justice Tour brings the life and legacy of Supreme Court Justice Thurgood Marshall from the page to the stage—using theater, history, and guided conversation to encourage civic understanding and a deeper commitment to equal justice.
The tour began in February 2019 at Bas Bleu Theatre Company in Fort Collins, Colorado. It continued at Poudre High School, where the production introduced the audience talkback series that would become a defining part of the Equal Justice Tour experience.
Following the pandemic, THURGOOD returned to the stage in February 2024 at the Lincoln Center in Fort Collins. Since then, the tour has continued through a series of special-event, one-night performances designed to connect Marshall’s legacy with the communities and causes of today.
